How can an appointment be made? |

How many guests can your venue handle at any one time? |
The Pleasant Hill Mansion can handle up to 250 guests for an event. |
Can just a wedding ceremony be held? |
We require that a reception be held here as well. |
When do we decide on all the details for our wedding? |
Your wedding sales manager will arrange the details of your event |
with you at your convenience. |
May I bring in my own wedding coordinator or wedding planner? |
Of course you may bring in your own wedding coordinator if you |
already have one hired or you may use our wedding coordinator for weddings with over |
100 guests. |
I am from out of state and worried about planning an event long distance. |
Our sales manager will work closely by phone, e-mail and mail to make sure all of your |
details are covered. |
What vendors are not included? |
You are responsible for booking your officiant, florist/decorator, photographer and music |
for the ceremony and reception. We can provide a list of vendors, or you are welcome to |
bring in your own. |
Are there photography restrictions? |
Photographers are not allowed on the golf course because of liability issues |
Please verify with our wedding director where your photos may be shot |
How do we reserve space? |
Space cannot be guaranteed without a signed contract and deposit. All space must be |
approved by our wedding director. |
How is parking handled? |
There is a $300.00 fee charged for a traffic director and a 6-seater golf cart for |
weddings larger than 100. |
What about rental items? |
Rental items are your responsibility. |
There can be restrictions put on the delivery and pick-up of rental items depending |
the scheduling of events. |
Is a rehearsal for the ceremony included? |
There is a 1 hour rehearsal time allotted for weddings of 50 guests or more. The rehearsal |
is usually held the day before the ceremony. |
Where does the wedding party get dressed? |
There are dressing rooms upstairs in the Mansion for the wedding party to use prior to |
the ceremony. |
Can I taste the food before I decide on the menu? |
A tasting for up to 4 people is available for couples planning a banquet reception for |
100 or more guests. |
Can we bring in our own caterer? |
The Governors Club provides all food and beverage for all events. |
Is there special pricing for children? |
Reduced pricing is available for children under 12. |
What is the deposit and payment schedule? |
The rental payment is considered the deposit and is due upon signing of the contract |
to hold the date. Two weeks out the remaining balance is due and charged to a credit |
card that is on file. |
Leftover Food |
Any leftover foods cannot leave the property. We sometimes prepare more food |
than is necessary in order to make sure that your buffet always looks full. |
Is there a service charge? |
Yes, there is a service charge of 20% on all food and beverage. |
What taxes are applicable? |
Sales tax for the state of Tennessee is 9.25% applicable to all sales. |
Wine and alcohol also has an extra 15% state tax that is applied. |
What forms of payment are acceptable? |
Credit cards, checks, or cash are accepted. |
Beverage Service |
Non- alcoholic events have a flat fee of $6.50++ for beverages. |
Pricing on bars can be based on consumption or on a per glass basis. |
The bar can be a hosted only or cash bar. All of this can be worked out with the event |
director prior to your event. |
